Last month owners of the 737 Bridge Street facility cut management by 30 percent and eliminated about 40 staff positions, said Administrator James Lomastro according to James F Lowe's article in the the Daily Hampshire Gazette dated 7-7-2010.

Teamsters Local 404 Principal Officer Frank A Rossi and Secretary Treasurer Victor A Santiago along with the members of Local 404 who are employed at the facility are asking who is the owner of the facility now?. on 7-7-2010 members of Local 404 and Seiu 1199,  about 40 strong marched on the facility to ask the administrator, who are the new owners? and no way no how is anyone going to take there Nursing Home which some of the patients have been living there for 20 or 30 years and cut staff  that threatens the care of the patients. The so-called new owners who have masquerade as the owners can't even produce a purchase and sales agreement which was requested by Teamsters Local 404.

Principal Officer Rossi has contacted State Representative Kocot and  expressed his concerns to him, Rep P. Kocot can be reached at 1-617-722-2347. Teamsters Local 404 urges our members to call Rep, P Kocot and tell him to protect not only the Nursing Home but protect the very care takers that provide to those in need at the facility.
